President of Wagner Leadership
Group, Inc., Angela Wagner, MCC, CPCC, has worked with more than
2500 coaching and training clients over the last 17 years
ranging from C-suite executives and VPs to directors and line
engineers. Angela's clients have expressed a profound
appreciation for her unique blend of powerful executive
presence, business savvy, and approachable compassion, honed
from her hands-on experience in management and executive
positions in the Aerospace, Financial, Media & Entertainment,
Retail, Communications, High Tech, Government and Services
industries.
Angela started her high performing career early: At 19 she
published original research in peer reviewed Psychology
journals; at 20 she presented to seasoned psychologists from
around the world at various national and regional psychological
associations; and at 21 she was the first American to be
accepted by the Institute of Psychiatry, in London, to do
research and psychotherapy.
Angela quickly rose through the ranks at Accenture, the global
management consulting, technology services and outsourcing
company. Angela distinguished herself among approximately
150,000 professionals in 49 countries as a top-performing global
leader.
A dynamic and creative facilitator, Angela founded and
co-created "Coach Skills for Effective Leadership". These
in-demand group sessions - designed for high performing, high
potential next generation leaders - quickly became a part of the
elite Leadership Development Program at Accenture. This
extremely popular leadership model was leveraged among leaders
throughout Europe, Asia, and North America in less than a year
simply by referral.
Angela spearheaded internal coaching at Accenture and became the
firm's first full time senior executive coach. Founder of the
Accenture Coaching Community of Practice, Angela mentors many
coaches-in-training. She has led the design and development of a
variety of global programs on Leadership Development, Sales
Performance, and other capability development areas.
After a distinguished career as a top performing Accenture
executive, Angela left the corporate world in order to provide
coaching and leadership development consulting, thereby fully
leveraging her diverse background. Angela’s credentials in the
coaching arena are equally as impressive as her business
experience. She is a sought-after executive coach and speaker,
specializing in executive leader impact, effectiveness, and
fulfillment. Angela has been invited to speak at high profile
conferences and consortia, and is a member of the International
Coach Federation (ICF) and the Executive Coaches Summit - a
think tank of top executive coaches worldwide.
Angela completed coach training at the world-leading, ICF-certified
Coaches Training Institute. As part of her ongoing commitment to
continuing professional development, Angela completed advanced
graduate coach training at Newfield in July, 2007. A Certified
Professional Co-Active Coach, Angela also earned her Master
Certified Coach credential (MCC), the highest awarded by the ICF,
in early 2007. Of 13,000 member coaches in the ICF, only 600
have earned the MCC distinction. Angela holds a double Masters
in Counseling Psychology and Social Psychology (summa cum
laude).
On a personal note, Angela is active in local community and
international efforts for health and wellness, homeless and
at-risk youth, AIDS in Africa, the potters’ caste in India, and
an orphanage in Romania. She serves on the Board of Directors of
The Access Life Program, which helps people with mobility
impairments achieve greater access to life. In addition, she has
committed a portion of all Wagner Leadership Group, Inc.
revenues to The Access Life Program and to Coffee Oasis, which
serves local homeless and at-risk youth.
